Sheesh… it’s been a big couple of months in the CSS camp.

With Julz and Chappy stepping into the reins, we first want to tip our helmets to Ash and Damo for everything they’ve poured into California Superbike School NZ. The foundation they’ve built, the standards they’ve set, and the community they’ve grown are something we’re incredibly grateful for — and very proud to carry forward.

Looking ahead, we are pumped about what’s next! Our focus is on continuing to push the school forward, engaging both new and existing riders, and helping more people sharpen their skills, confidence, and enjoyment on the bike. Whether you’re chasing improved lap times or simply want to ride smarter and safer, we’re here for it.

We also want to acknowledge the continued support from Forbes & Davies, who keep our coaches planted on the track with the best Metzeler tyres underneath them. Solid tyres matter, especially when you’re riding at the limit while demonstrating technique, and we appreciate having that reliability beneath us. While you’re at it, check out their shiny new Ixon IX‑AIRBAG U05 and IX‑AIRBAG U03 airbag vests — developed alongside Ixon’s MotoGP riders and offering next‑level protection with multiple modes for road, track, and even adventure riding.

This year did come with a couple of changes. Unfortunately, we were not able to run Hampton Downs this season. That said, we’re genuinely excited about the Tauranga track opening, which will make CSS more accessible for riders across the upper North Island. Hampton is absolutely still on our radar for the future — it just comes with a higher price tag, and we want to make sure when we return, we do it right.

Finally, our November dates at Manfeild are now live, and we’d love to see you there. Don’t let the cost of fuel discourage you from investing in your riding — because not improving your skills can end up costing far more. There’s no better spend than learning how to ride better, smoother, and safer.
